Don't Miss 'Echoes of the Amazon' by Galerie Gomis in Paris

IYKYK: we go up for creative consultant, talent manager, founder and curator Marie Gomis-Trezise and the projects she organises at her own Galerie Gomis. From March 25 to April 2 2025, the gallery returns to Paris with a gripping new show ‘Gleeson Paulino - Echoes of the Amazon’, curated by Marie and presented in collaboration with storytelling and multimedia non-profit TALES.

This expo is part of Galerie Gomis’ residency at Sheriff Gallery, an experimental art space in Le Marais run by the team at Sheriff Projects. If you’ve heard of Sheriff, you know their ethos: art, fashion and sustainability colliding in the best possible way. They’re a certified B-Corp so this show also aligns squarely with B-Corp Month aka the time for deeper reflection on ethical business, social impact and sustainability.

‘Echoes of the Amazon’ takes us on a poetic visual journey through the Amazon’s lush but beleaguered landscapes, brought to life through the immersive lens of visual artist Gleeson Paulino. In 2021, i-D Vice magazine named him one of the leading Brazilian photographers to follow. His work speaks to ecology, fashion and fine art with images that are as haunting as they are beautiful - shedding light on indigenous resilience, environmental urgency and the balancing act between tradition and nowness.
