I am extremely happy Mykki Blanco collaborated with berlin-based music platform COLORS and Highsnobiety on a live performance visual for 'I'm In a Mood', my favourite track of the "MYKKI" album.
Mykki is one of the most daring and honest artists to emerge these past couple of years and KID GOT BARRRRRSSSSS.
Props to him for calling out YouTube a couple of days ago, for displaying homophobic double standards after his "Loner" video was banned from the channel for "violating community guidelines". It's back up and you can watch it here.
Mykki has also rightfully so called upon black media to show more support to queer and non gender conforming artists and their output. Well, this blackityblackblack girl and her platform is a proud fan of King Mykki and urges all of you to go listen to or download the "MYKKI" album wherever you most like to pay for music.
