‘Phoenix: Flames Are Dew Upon My Skin ’ is one of those sleeper albums that creeps into the Zeitgeist while you’re not looking. It is without question the album I have listened to the most in 2021. In addition to the engrossing video for ‘Faith Consuming Hope’ (great title, btw) you can check out Eartheater’s live performance at MoMA during the lockdown, which is acoustic and stunning.
