The Most Podcast - Episode 15: Stéphanie D'Olieslager - Sherø

If you grew up clubbing in the 90s, chances are great you were enraptured by the prodigious DJ Stéphanie D’Olieslager / Sherø, then widely known as Stephanie and later on D'Stephanie. Today, the internationally acclaimed DJ, producer & composer has founded her very own record label KlubKid Records & fostered a close-knit community of equal spirits in Berlin through her residency at queer club concept BRENN Berlin. On this episode, Stephanie recalls breaking out from her strict Catholic education (and the school building which, quite ironically, has since been revamped into a club she plays at), first falling in love with music, landing her own radio show age 15 & the breakout lane she carved out for herself ever since. She talks to host Dominique about the highs & lows of working in music, the audacity to start over when your situation stops serving you, heading back to school, exploring your identity & growing when letting go of internal pressure. Always ahead of the curve, Stephanie recounts how she shifted, adapted & literally packed up and moved to follow her instincts, to a physical and mental space she can truly thrive in. You love to hear it!
