My favourite thing about having new Bill Callahan songs on my playlist is when they pop up by surprise and you’re like: “Huh, this is really great…” and the world slows down just a little bit and the clouds up above look a little bit brighter and the people rushing down below seem a little bit less relevant to the tempo of your own strut through this thing we call life.
