The global refugee crisis swells in severity with each passing day and every reminder to get involved is a much-needed one. Acclaimed visual artist Ai Weiwei uses his platform to show us the enormity of the issue in a new documentary film titled ‘Human Flow’. Directed by Ai Weiwei and shot over the course of one year in 23 countries, often from a drone’s perspective, this film follows the enormous trek and endless challenges refugee groups are faced with every day. It aims to give a real sense of the immense horror that is hidden within the headlines. It also reminds us we can all take action.
